With one thing and another we were running a bit late by this time, and I'd said I'd try to be home for two, so I said my farewells to Keith and Leila and hammered home taking a more direct route than the "official" one. A total of 95 miles in six and a half hours in the saddle, I reckon. And mostly in the driving rain. A strangely great morning out though.
