Suitably inspired by Jamie & Jimmy's TV show, I decided to have a go at making my own sourdough starter. It worked! Above is my first ever sourdough loaf. It was delicious! Flour, water and a pinch of salt.
I drew the line at the brick oven to cook it in though.
